Original scripts/ Script Doctoring:
-Michael has created original works and also worked alongside teams of writers to create original works as both a writer and as a ghostwriter.
-Michael has written 7 original short films in 2021 all of which are being made in 2021.
-Michael uses his real world experience to alter/write scripts, so they are easier to film and less expensive for the production. Dialogue in a car is a perfect example of this, as it requires renting expensive gear and having qualified personel that can rig this gear. The revisions would include moving the dialogue to the setting the characters are going to and having the actors pull up to the destination, get out of the vehicle, and then begin walking and talking.
When hired as a script revisionist/ script editor, Michael Fels reads the client's script and makes notes along the way. The revisions/edit begins after additional research into the time period,setting, or topic associated with the film has occured.
-Michael specializes in putting a script into the proper format. Proper script format allows the production to estimate how long the the movie will be. One page of properly formatted dialogue usually equals 1 minute.
-Editing a client's script down to the desired number of pages is Michael's speciality.
-These revisions can lead to the script having authentic natural dialogue, a clearer plot, more subtext, & an improved sub plot.
-Michael is sensitive to what audience the script is trying to reach and uses this to alter dialogue to further attract that demographic.
-Michael’s revisions replace dialogue or actions that needlessly alienate a group/demographic.

CUSTOM MADE ORIGINAL MONOLOGUES FOR ACTORS:
It is much better to perform an original monologue or Original Script then performing a famous movie monologue and then immidiately being compared to the celebrity’s performance. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, after reviewing your current reel, resume, and social media Michael does a 30 minute zoom call to figure out a character/script that will best sell your strengths as an actor and point you in the direction that you would like to take your career. You receive your original work 3 business days after.

$110 for 2x monologues (save $10)
$125 for a 2x character scene (up to 3 pages/microshort)

A FREE 30 minute zoom rehearsal session also is included with each of your custom made monologues/scenes in which you go over and rehearse the monologue with Michael getting notes and advice on your performance.
Each additional 30 minute zoom rehearsal is $20.
Edits to scripts/monolgues are $20 for 30 minutes

If you wish to make the actual short film itself then Michael can be hired as a Producer/Director/CastingDirector for a flat fee and will run it from start to finish and deliver an edited copy for you as well as imdb credit for your role and as a producer. This is perfect for actors who would also like to produce and be behind the camera. (Price varies)
